2010 BAMS Bike Team Recognition

Band Against MS is proud to recognize our top bike team members for 2010. With rides from Washington state to Tennessee and more than 160 riders participating in six MS150 rides; this was one of the best years yet for Band Against MS. Even though each of our riders holds a special place for us, we had a few standouts that we would like to recognize for their fundraising efforts.

BAMS would like to recognize Hilary Trammell as the 2010 Top Team Captain. Hilary was the BAMS bike team captain, along with Aaron Jacks, for the 2010 BP MS150 ride in Houston, Texas. She also serves as an MS150 Ride Marshal and is participating in her 22nd bike tour in 2011. Hilary raised $5,269 for MS research during the 2010 BP MS150 ride.

BAMS would also like to recognize our Top Fundraising Team for 2010. This year, the 108-rider BAMS bike team pedaled their way to raising more than $155,000 during the two-day 2010 BP MS150 ride in Houston, Texas. Of the money raised, $123,189 will go to the National MS Society with $32,000 going toward Band Against MS to further their mission of funding research to find a cure for MS.

Thank you to each of the riders for your tireless efforts to help spread the word about Band Against MS and MS research. Our riders’ participation only serves to increase awareness of our mission—to provide educational information for those living with multiple sclerosis, to fund programs researching a cure for multiple sclerosis, and to fund programs helping those living with the disease.
