Trey Farmer Named Latest BAMS Hero for His Fight with Multiple Sclerosis

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 6, 2010) – Band Against MS (BAMS), a Nashville, Tenn. – based nonprofit public charity founded by multi-platinum recording artist Clay Walker, has selected Atlanta-native, Trey Farmer as their latest BAMS Hero. Farmer was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2007 at the age of 22.

BAMS selects a few individuals each year to highlight their inspirational stories of life with MS. Farmer was selected because of his fighting attitude to not let MS stop him from living and following his dreams to become a singer/musician, and for his drive to help others.

Farmer’s story and photos were posted on BAMS’ website on May 5, 2010, at www.bandagainstms.org in the “Meet the Heroes” section.
